Our bookkeeping service suits businesses handling up to 200 transactions per month, and our advisory work is particularly relevant for businesses with annual revenues approaching or exceeding CAD 200,000.
What accounting software do you use?
We work primarily with QuickBooks Online and Xero — both of which support real-time collaboration and give you view access to your records at any time. If you're already working in different software, we're happy to discuss compatibility during an initial conversation.
How do you handle CRA correspondence or a review?
If you receive correspondence from the CRA regarding a return we've prepared, we'll work with you to respond appropriately. Well-organized records and accurate filings reduce the likelihood of queries, but should one arise, we won't leave you to navigate it on your own.
What documents will I need to share with you?
For bookkeeping, we typically need access to bank and credit card statements, business expense receipts, and any invoicing records you maintain. For tax filing, we'll also need prior year returns, your corporation's articles, and capital asset records. We provide a straightforward checklist at the start of each engagement.
How often will I hear from you about my books?
Bookkeeping clients receive a monthly summary email highlighting patterns in income and spending. If anything looks worth discussing — a shift in cash flow or an unusual expense category — we'll flag it proactively. You also have view access to your cloud records at any time.
When does it make sense to consider tax strategy planning?
